Rudraksham
Rudraksham is formed by association of two words, 'RUDRA' and 'AKSHAM' . Rudra is the name of Lord Shiva. Aksham means 'tear'. It is said that the plant of Rudraksham is originated from the tear drops of Lord Shiva, as per the vedic scriptures. Shastras say that Rudraksham of any mukhis can never do any harm to the wearer.
Scientits have proved that Rudraksham can fight against many diseases from our body. There are different mukhis available in rudraksham from 1 mukhi to 23 mukhis are available. But a Genuine one has the right power.
Here’s how to identify a genuine Rudraksham, 1. A real Rudraksham bead will never float on water. 2. Even if you boil a real Rudraksham in water for 6 hours, there would no effect on the bead. A fake will easily disintegrate. 3. A good Rudraksham bead will not be broken at any end. 4. A ‘healthy’ bead should have well defined and natural corns and contours. Size of Rudraksham referred in Upanishad a. If the size of the Rudraksham is as amla fruit is considered as the best. b. If it is as the size of jujuba fruit (elandhaipazham) is considered as better. c. Below the above sizes are not advisable.

ChathuraGiri Hill
ChathuraGiri is a sivan malai located in Tamil nadu, India. It is very mysterious place where the siddhars are believed to do poojas to the lord sundara mahalingam and santhana mahalingam in the hill.
Chathuragiri otherwise known as Sivanmalai is situated 5 kms from Watrap (Vathirairuppu) near Srivilliputhur.
